1. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using L'Cachet, including the website, chat interface, account features, subscriptions, and related services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
L'Cachet may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
2. What L'Cachet Provides
L'Cachet provides AI-assisted legal and administrative information based on retrieved Moroccan legal and administrative source material.
Depending on the selected mode, the service may retrieve and summarize laws, judicial decisions, constitutional decisions, treaties, circulars, royal letters, official procedure data, and other curated source material.
3. No Legal Advice or Official Authority
L'Cachet is an AI information tool. It is not a law firm, lawyer, court, ministry, public authority, or official government service.
Answers may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your specific facts. You are responsible for verifying important information with official sources and qualified professionals.
Do not rely on L'Cachet as your only source for court deadlines, appeal periods, penalties, filing requirements, payments, administrative deadlines, or decisions that affect your rights, duties, money, liberty, legal status, or public records.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to use L'Cachet responsibly and lawfully. You must:
- Provide accurate account information.
- Keep login credentials and account access secure.
- Review and verify AI outputs before relying on them or sharing them.
- Avoid submitting highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, or third-party personal information unless you have the right and a real need to do so.
- Use the service only for lawful research, guidance, administrative preparation, or information purposes.
5. Prohibited Use
You must not use L'Cachet to:
- Break the law or assist fraud, impersonation, or deception.
- Present AI output as verified professional judgment for others.
- Make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects without meaningful human review.
- Upload data you do not have the right to process or disclose.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, probe, attack, or bypass service limits.
- Extract, reveal, or misuse prompts, source-selection logic, logs, private retrieval metadata, API keys, or security controls.
6. Accounts, Access, and Security
Some features require an account. You are responsible for activity under your account.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we believe your use violates these terms, creates risk, abuses the service, or may harm users, L'Cachet, our infrastructure, or third-party services.
If you discover a security issue, contact security@lcachet.ma.
7. Plans, Payments, and Usage Limits
L'Cachet may offer free and paid plans. Plan features, limits, billing periods, prices, currencies, and payment terms are shown in the app or checkout flow.
Paid transactions may be processed through a third-party payment provider such as PayPal or CMI. You are responsible for reviewing plan and payment details before confirming payment.
Unless required by law or expressly stated in checkout, fees are not automatically refundable after access is provided. We may change plans, pricing, limits, or features prospectively.
8. AI Outputs and Source Material
AI outputs are generated from user prompts, conversation context, retrieved source material, and model behavior. We work to ground answers in retrieved sources, but we do not guarantee that every output is complete, current, correct, or appropriate for your case.
Official publications, competent authorities, courts, and qualified professionals should be treated as controlling sources.
9. Your Content
You remain responsible for messages, facts, documents, feedback, and other content you submit to L'Cachet.
You grant L'Cachet the rights needed to process, store, display, secure, troubleshoot, and operate the service using that content.
Do not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, invasive of privacy, confidential without authorization, infringing, or harmful.
10. Intellectual Property and Third-Party Services
L'Cachet, including its software, design, branding, prompts, workflows, retrieval architecture, and platform content, is protected by intellectual property and other laws.
The service may depend on third-party services for authentication, hosting, databases, email delivery, payments, AI models, embeddings, security, and infrastructure.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided as is and as available to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, L'Cachet and its operators, contributors, suppliers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, rights, opportunities, or legal position arising from use of or reliance on the service.
12. Governing Law and Contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Morocco, except where mandatory consumer protection or data protection laws require otherwise.
For questions about these terms, contact contact@lcachet.ma.
